Civil Site Operations Leadership
Strata Clean Energy is a leading developer, EPC, and service provider for utility-scale solar and storage systems in the United States. We control and self-perform all processes from our nationwide solar and storage developments to construction, O&M, and Asset Management.
We are seeking a Civil Site Operations Supervisor to lead our site operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing land development activities for solar sites, ensuring projects are completed on budget and schedule. This includes reviewing bid packages, negotiating with subcontractors, and coordinating with regulatory agencies throughout construction to ensure compliance with permits.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land development, civil engineering, and construction management. They will have a strong understanding of current civil engineering standards and practices, including knowledge of SWPP, SPCC, and BMPs. Additionally, they will be proficient in preparing and reviewing bid packages, comfortable presenting to consultants, AHJ, and subcontractors, and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Lead the site operations team to oversee land development activities for solar sites from Request for Proposal (RFP) through design plan preparation, construction, and closeout.
- Develop and implement value-engineered civil land development plans during design and construction.
- Review bid packages, including detailed cost analysis, takeoffs, schedules, and scope of work.
- Negotiate bid packages with subcontractors to achieve most economical and timely execution of work.
