Civil Site Superintendent
We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Site Superintendent to lead our utility scale solar or BESS site development activities. This role requires strong coordination, planning, and supervision skills to ensure projects are completed on budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of solar site land development activities from Request for Proposal (RFP) through design plan preparation, construction, and closeout
- Value engineering of civil land development plans during design and construction
- Review and negotiation of bid packages with subcontractors
- Coordination with regulatory agencies throughout construction to ensure compliance with permits
- Knowledge of SWPP, SPCC, and environmental best practices
- Guidance and direction to project team and subcontractor on environmental awareness and protection
- Management of subcontractors to ensure compliance with permit documents and project requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 8 years land development experience
- Understanding of current civil engineering standards and practices
- SWPP certification a plus
- Proficient preparing and reviewing bid packages
- Heavy highway license (preferred)
