Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Asset Management strategies within an asset management framework
- Actively manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets throughout the lifecycle
- Own and drive individual project and portfolio P&L performance to ensure best-in-class financial performance, risk management, and operational performance
- Develop and manage annual operating plans, project budgets, project onboarding, project reporting
- Work proactively and collaboratively with key business functions across the organization to ensure compliance, accurate accounting, reliable forecasts, and smart cash management
- Lead interface with customers, lenders, landowners, and external stakeholders of operating assets and solve emergent matters quickly and professionally
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives spanning business processes, systems, and procedures
- Familiarization with power markets and various merchant and contracted revenue strategies
- Measurable track record of creating value within a large energy portfolio using digital asset management performance platforms, advanced analytic systems, and processes and procedures
- Demonstrated success working in dynamic, agile, and data driven teams within a key performance environment
- Bachelor’s degree within business, STEM, finance, economics or related field; advanced degree is a plus
- 5 to 10 years’ experience within the energy industry
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with advanced levels of emotional intelligence and excellent stakeholder management
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment with visits to assigned sites
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the entire duration of a workday
- Ability to wear full complement of personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting sites is required
- Work in-person at Strata’s North Carolina HQ (Durham).
