Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Recruitment Strategy Development and Execution
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand the current and future talent needs across all divisions (EPC, Development, O&M, IPP, HQ, executive roles, etc.).
- Develop Recruitment Plans: Create and execute recruitment strategies tailored to specific roles within the company, aligning with the company’s long-term goals and sustainability initiatives.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitors' recruitment practices to ensure Strata stays competitive in attracting top talent.
- Sourcing and Attracting Candidates
- Talent Pool Development: Build and maintain a network of potential candidates, especially for niche roles in the solar and renewable energy industry.
- Job Postings and Advertising: Post open jobs on relevant job boards, social media, and renewable energy-specific platforms.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques including LinkedIn, industry networking events, job boards, and direct outreach to identify candidates with the necessary technical expertise and leadership experience.
- Leverage Industry Relationships: Engage with industry associations, universities, and professional groups to identify top talent for key positions in EPC, Development, and O&M.
- Screening and Interviewing
- Pre-screening: Review resumes and applications, conduct phone screenings, and assess qualifications for specific roles, ensuring candidates meet the job requirements and have a passion for renewable energy.
- Interview Coordination: Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers, providing feedback on candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and technical skills.
- Candidate Evaluation: Use a variety of assessment tools to evaluate technical proficiency, leadership qualities, and alignment with the company’s mission and values.
- Candidate Engagement and Relationship Management
- Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive and professional relationship with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring an exceptional experience from application to hiring.
- Negotiation and Offers: Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive salary and benefits packages, and negotiate job offers in line with company standards and industry benchmarks.
- Offer Acceptance: Ensure candidates are onboarded smoothly and have a strong understanding of the company culture and expectations prior to joining.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers and department leads to understand the nuances of each role and department, ensuring recruitment strategies are tailored to their specific needs.
- Role Requirements Alignment: Ensure job descriptions and candidate profiles align with the technical and cultural requirements of each position.
- Feedback Loops: Maintain open communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, providing regular updates on candidate progress and feedback from interviews
- Maintaining a High-Quality Pipeline
- Talent Pool Management: Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for each department, especially for high-level roles and positions that require specialized knowledge in renewable energy, such as EPC engineers, project developers, and senior leadership.
- Succession Planning: Assist in identifying potential candidates for succession planning, particularly for senior management or leadership roles in the company.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in corporate recruiting environment.
- Prior construction or EPC recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience in multi-site companies necessary; experience with large population of hourly workers a plus.
- ATS Management experience required.
- UKG experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner as well as gather and analyze informational skillfully.
- Must maintain confidentiality and work effectively with others including management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
- Must be able to prioritize, plan work activities and work consistently and dependably.
- Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and manage frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal collaboration and candidate engagement.
- Recruitment Experience: Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, especially for technical and high-level roles within engineering, construction, project development, and operations.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to use recruitment metrics and analytics to drive decisions and improve processes
- Leadership and Teamwork: Capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams across the organization, including hiring managers and senior leadership.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the solar energy industry, including EPC, development, and O&M sectors
- Ability to travel up to 10% in the U.S.
- Works in an office environment.
- Frequently speaks, reads, writes and uses a computer keyboard.
- May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping or bending.
