JR Systems Engineer - Walkbase

Job Purpose:

To support the engineering team by managing logistics, preparing hardware for the product line, and gaining a deep understanding of the underlying technology of Walkbase. This role involves hands-on work with hardware, shipping coordination, and meticulous record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the engineering team with logistics and hardware preparation for the Walkbase product line.
• Build and maintain accurate shipping records for all hardware.
• Scan, label, and track devices throughout the inventory process.
• Collaborate with shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of devices.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the technology behind the product line.
• Analyze data and evaluate identifiable factors to resolve diverse problems.
• Maintain high attention to detail in all tasks.
• Utilize inventory management and control processes effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Google office products, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  
  

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline
  
  
  

Required Experience:

• Experience with inventory processes, including inventory management and control
• Experience with Google office products (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive)
  
  
  

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to handle problems of a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• High attention to detail
  
  
  

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Some coding knowledge (any language)
• Linux OS experience
• Command line and terminal troubleshooting experience
