What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Architect position at Stratacent?
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to drive our observability and reliability initiatives. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust monitoring solutions while establishing SRE best practices across our organization.
Location - Manassas, Virginia
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive Service Level Indicator (SLI) and Service Level Objective (SLO) framework to measure and enhance service reliability
- Architect and maintain a unified observability data model that bridges infrastructure and application monitoring
- Lead the development of custom observability solutions tailored to different technical domains and business units
- Create and execute a strategic Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement monitoring solutions and establish reliability standards
- Guide teams in adopting observability best practices and tools
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on operational metrics and insights
- Mentor team members on SRE practices and observability patterns
