Job Summary
Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is in search of applicants who are available in the near term and are interested in satisfying a future requirement to support an Army Product Manager’s Program Management team with Logistics support. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from military/civilian/contractor service and are adept at briefing mid and senior staff personnel. The responsibilities of the Logistics Program Systems Analyst (PSA) will be to provide assistance to the Assistant Product Manager (APM) with complete life-cycle management tasks that includes programmatic and technical/operational analysis and recommendations. The PSA will be responsible for developing, updating and maintaining acquisition logistics documentation, formulating recommendations for decision-makers, and integrating of schedule, budget, and technical/performance activities.
Minimum Position requirements:
- Must have experience in the development, testing, fielding/training, and sustainment phases of the life cycle.
- Must be capable of conducting independent analyses, evaluation, and assessment of logistics and system engineering issues.
- Must have demonstrated experience working individually as well as organizing and facilitating working groups.
- Must be able to prepare detailed written reports and briefings suitable for presentation to senior level military and corporate leadership, as well as present material orally.
- Must have a strong understanding of Army Logistics Acquisition processes, Milestone Documentation, and program decision process.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Existing Active Security Clearance REQUIRED: SECRET
Preferred Requirements:
- PEO Aviation Product Management Office experience.
- Will objectively evaluate and assess technical, logistical, and operational concepts, reports and plans to ensure compliance and cohesiveness with all required Army, Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Communications Electronics Command (CECOM), Program Executive Office, Aviation (PEO AVN), and other relevant guidance, directives and policies.
- Will prepare all acquisition logistics documentation, to include, but not limited to: LCSP, CDA, APSA, and integrated master schedule.
- Will conduct analysis and studies to establish the logistics supportability of system and subsystems requirements.
- Will coordinate with IA, Test, and other supporting teams to provide recommendations and courses of actions pertaining to supportability, maintainability and reliability and acceptance tasks and activities.
- Will coordinate and communicate all logistics activities with team members to ensure awareness and through understanding of timelines and logistics actions.
- Will assist the APM with IPS requirements, analysis, implementation and compliance with IPS regulations and guidance.
- Will coordinate inputs across the various domains (development, test, IA, business, etc.) for the development of realistic and executable logistics schedules by working within a team environment to provide insights into logistics scheduling trends and best practices.
- Will perform critical path and risk analyses on the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to determine schedule realism and schedule drivers.
- Will effectively coordinate with industry and government organizations to integrate and manage the program logistics objectives.
- Will analyze and/or evaluate logistics documentation such as LCSP, CDA, APSA, PPL data Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), system specifications, and training documentation to ensure compliance.
- Will assist the APM in the preparation of necessary LCSP, CDA, APSA, and other documentation.
- Will provide logistics expertise to material release and/or material fielding actions.
- Will provide logistics expertise to conferences/briefings/meetings/working groups.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Education – BS in engineering, business, or operations research
- Minimum Years of Experience - 10 years
- Alternate Education and Experience – MS and 8 years; PhD and 6 years; HS and 14 years
- Must have experience in related field of expertise at the program level, ideally in providing logistics and/or systems engineering/integration support to DoD acquisition activities.
Travel: May require travel up to 25%.Special Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the minimum requirements for access to classified information.
Testing: Candidates may be subject to a written test as part of the candidate interview and selection process to demonstrate written communication skills and/or the ability to deal with potentially challenging notional situations which may arise while supporting a Product Office.
