What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Release Coordinator position at Stratagem Solutions, Inc?
Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is in search of applicants to serve as a Logistics Management Specialist and assure that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements. Candidate will plan, direct, coordinate, and manage areas of the logistics program which encompasses the operations and activities related to logistical support provided to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Project Management Office (PMO).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for integration of separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation/transportability, new equipment training and fielding of assigned systems and/or equipment for the logistics management program throughout the entire lifecycle of assigned systems.
- Holds TC/MR Integrated Product Teams (IPT), prepares briefing materials, tracks meeting minutes, maintains action item tracker.
- Tracks unit compliance for MWO application.
- Coordinates MWO packages with the Life-Cycle Management Command MWO coordinator.
- Schedules MWO validation (VAL) and verification (VER) events with stakeholders, and Original Equipment Manufacture or Government Agency.
- Schedules for equipment Users for VER activities through the appropriate Capability Manager and or CASCOM.
- Identifies contractual language and CDRLs for MWO requirements to include in the Statement of Work and or Performance Work Statements.
Minimum Position requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisitions and specifications to ensure product planning, development, acquisition, fielding plans, schedules, and strategies
- Knowledge and experience with AR 770-3 and DA PAM 770-3 to obtain a weapon System Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR). The candidate will have experience with the processes and staffing of TC and MR packages through the proper Functional Authority’s (FA).
- Knowledge of the different Materiel releases for both hardware and software. Experience with inputting MR data in the Materiel Release Tracking System (MRTS). Tracks/monitors MRTS get well planning dates and conditions. Informs the Product Support Manager (PSM) of required get well extension request.
- Knowledge and experience with AR 750-10 Army Modification Program, DA From 7591 Modification Work Order (MWO) fielding plan, DA Form 7592 modification work order exhibit of concurrence.
- Understands Class I and II engineering change proposals and the relationship to the MWO process. Experience with inputting/tracking MWOs in the Modification Management Information System (MMIS) and tracking unit compliance for MWO application.
- Experience with coordinating MWO packages with the Life-Cycle Management Command MWO coordinator and scheduling MWO validation (VAL) and verification (VER) events with stakeholders, and Original Equipment Manufacture or Government Agency.
- Experience with scheduling equipment Users for VER activities through the appropriate Capability Manager and or CASCOM.
- Experience with identifying contractual language and CDRLs for MWO requirements to include in the Statement of Work and or Performance Work Statements.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. issued passport.
Preferred Position requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Education – Bachelor’s plus 20 years in functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.
Travel: May require travel up to 25%.
Special Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the minimum requirements for access to classified information.
Testing: Candidates may be subject to a written test as part of the candidate interview and selection process to demonstrate written communication skills and/or the ability to deal with potentially challenging notional situations which may arise while supporting a Product Office.
