Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000-$75,000 yearly income
Requirements:
- Ability to work 3-4 weeks straight with normal shift rotations
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to self-manage
- Reliable Mode of transportation
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- Basic Computer proficiency
- We are unable to sponsor visas at this time
- Associates Degree or Higher in Geology, Earth Sciences or Engineering or prior experience mud logging is helpful
Job description:
- Rig up/ Rig down
- Collect drilling cuttings from shaker
- Analyze cuttings under microscope for lithology, mineralogy, hydrocarbons etc.
- Update logging software with data obtained through analysis
- Gas monitoring for over-pressured formations
- Routine equipment maintenance and calibrations
- Daily updates to Operations Geologist
