JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst III

REQUISITION #: VA-1365-25-CISA

LOCATION: Arlington, VA

REPORTS TO: DHS CISA Program Manager

FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY: SABG is hiring a Senior Analyst III to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) The Chief of Contracting Office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Provide administrative support to ISD OCOS, ExecSec and DAG efforts
  • Provide executive-level support. This includes the ability to be a self-starter, be proactive, operate in a fast-paced environment, and able to initiate and complete tasks independently
  • Prepare daily binders for executive leadership with calendar and information pertaining to the day’s engagements. Binders are updated every morning for that workday and contains calendars, read-aheads, agendas, and any additional materials principals may need
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and travel/meeting logistics for assigned executives.
  • Arrange travel and prepare travel vouchers and organized trip files
  • Utilize the CATT system to track incoming requests and deadlines, download documents, create and send tasks
  • Receive and screen incoming calls and visitors
  • Draft, edit, rewrite, and prepares final correspondence, briefing materials, memoranda, and other documents and ensures accuracy in templates
  • Collaborate with the Director’s Action Group (DAG) and perform tasks in support of the DAG
  • Establish and maintain various filing and electronic records management systems and utilize knowledge management
  • Coordinate meetings/conferences/exercises and provide meeting minutes and/or reports five business days after each meeting/conference/exercise attended
  • Provide administrative support for Branch and Division meetings and training, which includes scheduling and meeting notifications and preparing briefing slides, handouts, and other supplementary materials
  • Prepare drafts of: Correspondence, Backup Materials, Action Minutes, Meeting Slides/Handouts, Meeting notifications, Itineraries, Files, Speaker Requests, Talking Points, Presentations, Templates, etc.

SUPERVISION: This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of comprehending contract administration duties to support stakeholder requirements. Has relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s Degree and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and display a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and a “no-task-too-small” approach to the work

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Must have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Word and Excel skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, including budget forecasting.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
