JOB TITLE : Program Control Analyst
REQUISITION : VA-1364-25-HQ
LOCATION : Fairfax, VA
REPORTS TO : Chief Operations Officer
FLSA STATUS : Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY : SABG is seeking a Program Control Analyst to oversee the financial and performance aspects of contracts within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in program analysis, supporting small to mid-size federal government contractors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Prepare and maintain contract budgets, forecasts, burn reports, spend plans, and resource utilization reports for assigned contracts (contract types to include T&M, FFP, FFP LOE, & CPFF)
- Prepare required contract deliverables including monthly cost / status reports, Limitation of Funds projections / reports and ensure compliance with financial clauses and deliverable deadlines
- Analyze schedule and cost impacts and estimates and perform "what if" scenarios. Perform financial analysis on funding profiles and program financial variances
- Work with program managers to conduct internal financial reviews, understand project staffing projections, and resolve financial issues. Advise program managers through program decisions and their financial impact. Aid in discussions and analysis of variances between forecast and actuals
- Track prime and subcontract funding and costs, change requests, and other actions. Coordinate with Contracts team to support subcontract tracking and management
- Prepare travel request pre-approval documentation and estimates, coordinate approval process, track and validate travel reimbursements
- Assist with pricing efforts as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as required
SUPERVISION : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. COMPUTER SKILLS :
CLEARANCE : Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
COMPETENCIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and / or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
