What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust and Estate Paralegal position at Strategic Employment?
A highly prestigious, long standing law firm with 20 attorneys who cover multiple practice areas and have 3 offices across Connecticut is currently hiring a trust and estate paralegal to support 4 shareholders and 2 associates in their Hartford office.
You'll be preparing probate documents such as asset inventories and accountings, preparing CT and Federal estate tax returns, gathering info for estate and trust income tax returns and coordinating asset distributions. You'll be coordinating with clients and client's advisors or vendors to gather necessary data and asset information. Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years working in a legal support role on an estate / trust team or in a similar financial services role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
