Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the Journey to Leadership (JTL) Program at the Army Sustainment Command. This role manages logistical and administrative operations of a dynamic, multi-tiered leadership development program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating training schedules, program materials, coaching sessions, and assessment documentation across all tiers of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all scheduling, training room logistics, and material distribution for Tiers I–III.
- Maintain detailed documentation of participant assessments, coaching sessions, and training evaluations.
- Support program compliance with government reporting requirements, assessment tracking, and quality assurance reviews.
- Liaise with instructors, guest speakers, and government stakeholders to ensure timely communication and program execution.
- Maintain program documentation in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
- Assist with graduation events, inventory of training materials, and other logistics tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least five (5) years’ experience in training coordination, leadership program logistics, or adult learning support.
- Familiarity with Army or Department of Defense (DoD) organizational structure and program processes preferred.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent timelines and tasks in a dynamic, high-visibility environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain installation access and pass a background check.
- Experience supporting leadership development programs, meeting any of the following qualifications is desirable:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing and delivering the leadership development modules listed above.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in coaching participants, one-on-one and in a team environment, in areas of conflict resolution, mediation techniques, coaching and counseling practices, personal accountability, and communication, and/or a certification in executive coaching.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience developing, customizing, delivering, and explaining personality and behavior assessments. Ability to provide participants with useful methods of applying this knowledge when working with different personalities in the workplace and with customers.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering and explaining assessments on topics such as Team Building, Problem Solving, and Communication. Must have assessments for other modules as needed. Must provide sample of assessments.
- Certified to administer and provide feedback on Benchmark By Design 360 Degree Assessment and MBTI Step II in-depth personality instruments/assessments. The preferred 360 degree assessment instrument is Benchmark by Design, however certification in a comparable 360 Degree Assessment may be acceptable. MBTI Step II is the preferred assessment as it provides additional depth and clarification within each of the four original MBTI dichotomies. (Must provide copies of certifications.)
