Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Construction Supervisor to oversee our Lighting Project, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and operational efficiency of lighting infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, electrical systems, and project coordination, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day construction activities for the lighting project, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and according to client's standards.
- Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, electricians, and field crews, ensuring proper execution of work plans.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and the Client's safety guidelines, conduct regular safety meetings, and address any hazards proactively.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect installations and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the Client's stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow, resolve issues, and meet deadlines.
- Material & Equipment Management: Oversee inventory, order materials as needed, and ensure proper handling and storage of lighting components.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of project milestones.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for the Client's representatives, providing updates and addressing any concerns regarding the lighting project.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 5 years in construction supervision, preferably in lighting, electrical, or utility projects.
- Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical plans, and construction drawings. Familiarity with lighting systems and installations.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and relevant electrical or construction safety certifications preferred.
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive project success.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving on-site issues efficiently.
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Primarily field-based role, requiring work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
- Require Night shifts or weekend work, depending on project deadlines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work with utility projects.
- Familiarity with lighting design, LED installations, and energy-efficient systems.
Salary : $20 - $25
