Strategic Staffing Solutions has an immediately available need for an IT Project Manager with network infrastructure experience - specifically, server moves and builds for new facilities and IT vendor management!
TARGET PAY RATE : $70 / HR W2 (NO CTC OPTION).
CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO TAMPA, FL AND ABLE TO WORK ON SITE AT LEAST 2-3 DAYS / WEEK
PROJECT DURATION – 24 MONTHS MINIMUM
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
5 years of experience as a Project Manager leading network infrastructure projects with specific experience in server moves and builds for new facilities.
PMP required
Experience with Smartsheet required
IT Vendor Management experience required
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Onsite 3 days a week required – MUST BE LOCAL TO TAMPA, FL
PMP required
HS diploma or equivalent REQUIRED and will be independently verified
Drug screen required- no medical card accepted
SCOPE OF SERVICES :
TECO is building 3 new facilities from the ground up. This person is not involved in construction, but the Server Moves and Builds. New network implementation.
This resource would manage IT projects and associated activities within the IT department to meet budget, schedule and performance goals.
This resource would be expected to facilitate meetings, develop and maintain project schedules, and drive and execute projects to successful completion.
S / he would lead teams of Information Technology professionals (internal team members, on-site contractors, and vendors) as well as internal business partners, providing leadership to ensure the successful completion of IT projects of various sizes.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, typically carrying a project load of 3-5 active projects depending on size and depth of projects. Leads project team to clearly define project scope, to obtain cost estimates, to build schedules and to assign named resources to activities.
Develops and manages stakeholder expectations. Obtains, documents, and communicates estimates for schedule, budget and performance of assigned projects. Restates complex technical information in a format appropriate to the audience. Ensures appropriate documentation and entry of project information into the Project Repository.
Identifies risks, partners with team members to mitigate risk, and promptly communicates risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Solid background in Information Technology, specifically INFRASTRUCTURE project work with extensive experience in hands-on project management. Server moves and builds experience required.
Candidates must bring both Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
Vendor Management for IT projects
Strong leadership, planning and organizing, and interpersonal skills are required.
SMARTSHEET experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Project (Server) is required. Exposure to Project Server (2010 or 2013) / SharePoint is preferred.
Strong documentation experience with ability to forecast for time / cost is terms of resources and labor
