Production Support (Ab Initio & Teradata)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Setting: Hybrid W2 BasisContract to hire opportunity- W2 ONLY
This role will act as the conduit between the technology team and the stakeholders in addition to foundational production support. Must have the experience dealing with stakeholders whilst still maintaining production support responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of application production support
- 5 years of unix, sql, autosys
- 5 years of Ab Initio experience
- 5 years of Teradata experience
Job Description:
- Lead or triage major incidents management.
- Perform problem management to identify root cause and preventative actions
- Monitor application health and reduce alerts and failures
- Monitor batch and feed management
- Investigate and troubleshoot failures
- Support disaster recovery exercise
- Drive solutions to reduce recover
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Fundamental of Production support, (ITIL framework would descript what are services the support organization would provide) deep experience in the following areas: incident, problem, event, request, change, environment, knowledge management
- Great tech and business communications skills (verbal and written)
Desired Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Platform - (BIG PLUS)
- Hadoop experience
- Oracle experience
- Informatica experience
