Job Overview:
The Director of Operations is a unique leadership role as it oversees the majority of the business and its functional areas. The person in this role will report directly to the Owner and CEO and serve as a member of the Management team. You will be responsible for achieving Company financial and growth goals related to production capacity through overall management of operations and its functional teams.
Specific growth initiatives include:
- Expanding retail presence through dealer partnerships
- Enhancing product offerings to meet emerging market demands
- Increasing brand visibility through sponsorship and marketing
- Improving customer support and technical sales capabilities
- Developing technology solutions to monitor and optimize battery usage
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Owner and CEO to bring new products and solutions to the market
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Partner with the CFO to manage forecasting, planning and reporting
- Improve the operational systems, processes and procedures in support of the Company’s goals including:
- Dealer management and customer support
- Sales and marketing goals and objectives
- Warehouse operations
- Technical support
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of getting jobs done through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and other business functions
- Assist in the implementation of Salesforce
- Hire, coach, mentor and manage Operations, Sales and Marketing teams
- Attend regular meetings with management team to discuss goals achievement, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or related industry, with a proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage financial data to make informed decisions
- Experience in sales and marketing, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker and problem solver, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changes in the business environment
- Strong integrity, ethics, and professional values that align with the company's mission, vision, and values
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
