Job Description:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to orchestrate amazing events for our financial services company, leaving clients and prospects saying, “Wow!” Confidence and organization are key as you navigate our dynamic environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for those who know their way around the financial world. A year or more in live event coordination is a plus!
• Tech Savvy: Strong skills in MS Office Suite and a quick learner when it comes to new software.
• Detail-Oriented: You can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

As our Events Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our event planning, ensuring every detail is just right. Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

• Handle all pre-work, set-up and post-event work for company events
• Making reminder calls for events in a welcoming, friendly manner
• Provide phone coverage for our phone lines
• Screen registrants for events
• Handle confirmation calls and emails for events
• Oversee setup and execution of events each month
• Input notes into CRM and keep updated
• Coordinate and follow up on each event with the rest of the marketing team
• Support with updates to website
• Input all prospect appointments into CRM calendars and website
• Email appointment information to prospective clients
• Manage follow up process for cancelled or no-show appointments
• Maintain a flexible schedule based on events scheduled each month
• Assist with client appreciation events
• Complete monthly marketing inventory tracking
• Handle preparation/coordination for educational events that will take place across the country
• Complete data entry following those events
• Maintain professional communication with clients and staff
• Be willing to help in another department as needed
• Assist other marketing efforts in other cities as needed
• Support with handling various “shared” email inboxes
• Support with Wine and Wisdom event research, planning and coordinating
• Work up to 8 nights of events per month

Position Details:

• Location: 1100 Abernathy Road N.E., Atlanta, GA 30328
• Commitment: Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with a flexible schedule around events. Expect to work 6-8 weeknights a month, traveling for up to 4, 2-night events across the country.
• Compensation: Starting salary range is $54,000 to $58,000, plus a generous benefits package.
