Minimum
Must be 18 years of age or older. Good reading, math, verbal, and written communication skills. Technical training and general knowledge of food services/culinary arts; friendly demeanor; willingness to assist staff and peers; responds well to authority; willingness to become ServSafe certified
The Student Worker provides supervised, temporary center support to a designated department to enhance the development of employability and independent living skills.
Essential Functions
- Remove dishes, wipe tables, position chairs, and remove floor debris.
- Perform dishwasher operations and general cleaning and sanitation.
- Assist as required in light food preparation, stocking supplies, and deliveries.
- Remove trash.
- Consistently model the program's Career Success Standards
- Shadow Food Services staff to learn additional food service-related skills
- Attend required training as assigned.
- Promote a harassment-free environment.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
