What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance and HR position at Stratford Library Association?
We are seeking a Director Of Finance and Human Resources! You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of your assigned branch office.
Responsibilities:
- Works with Executive Director on the development of the annual operating and long-term capital budgets
- Uses Quickbooks to prepare monthly financial reports for the Executive Director and Treasurer
- Analyze information to assess current and future financial statuses
- Processes payroll and interfaces with payroll provider and 403B benefits provider
- Prepares for annual financial audit
- Collaborates with Development Director
- Responsible for pricing out building, worker's comp, D&O and umbrella insurances
- Administers and maintains personnel records
- Administers employee benefits programs
- Supports Executive Director with any HR/personnel issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience, preferably with a non-profit organization
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and FASB principles
- Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks
- High Level of organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Knowledge of common banking practices
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources and records administration
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to work independently
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
