Interacts with the Managers and MX associates in terms of understanding and meeting the agreed upon customer requirements and bussiness Automotive mode. Verifies, prints, and analyzes the product received and make the proper transactions in the system to provide vivibility to MX plants.

Coordinates MRP needs for Production, equipment MRO, and daily shipments to the MX plants.

Finalizes the shipping function in terms of documentation ( Customs Paperwork ) and CTPAT gudelines and Audit process and notification to the plants material was shipped when is a critical item.

Coordinate with receiving area all receiving issues through the system AS400 (Nutech), and other Systems, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Receiving Team and ensure the Receiving Transaction in AS400
• Manages Supplier Packing list against Receiving into System properly,
• DR report when a discrepancy is found
• Returnable Containers management ( Packing list scanned, Weekly Inventory count and interaction to Plants RC Leads )
• Has complete understanding of each customer’s ordering systems, and delivery expectations.
• Analyze, find cause and correct shipping/receiving discrepancies between STRATTEC and supplier/interplants records.
• Fill out Daily truckloads report movements and keep records updated
• Participate in any training sessions.
• Advise the Warehouse Supervisor any damage material received, discrepancy or quality issues.
• Get daily pick list/orders report.
• Responsible to keep and maintain record for Customs paperwork and 100% guarantee on the proper documentation for inbound and intercompanies shipments.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors/ Plants contacts and/or Production Planners for special shipments or urgencies.
• Process paperwork for intercompanies shipments all material needed by plant.
• Print all unit related e-mail and ship in accordance to instructions on e-mails.
• Verify that the loading of material on the assigned carrier is correct and that the proper carrier and Service level is used.
• Report any problems or shipping irregularities to the Distribution Manager and/or Warehpuse Supervisor on their team.
• Receive, verify, and process in the system all components parts received from the Plants and shipped them as well
• Mantain housekeeping and all material is located in the proper location to easy access.
• Receive special deliveries and customer returns, RTV and Inbound records
• Report packaging needs timely to Juarez for replenishment
• Maintain High levels of Inventory Accuracy of the items in his area
• Keep files and documentation of all shipments in an orderly manner, and easy to retrieve when needed
• Maintain high standards of Order & Housekeeping in his/her area
• This area is Security sensitive. He/She must maintain strict access policy

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This Job oversees operators making receive process and proper shipments to plants or vendors if needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The position requires a minimum GED or High School diploma, and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Bilingual prefereed (English-Spanish). Ability to speak fluent English for interaction with Suppliers, Logistics Dept and customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, Suppliers.

Due to the interaction with the Juarez Mexico associates, it is recommended that the candidate for this position be fluent in Spanish as well.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area and volume. Weight distribution on loads and Paperwork Integrity in any shipment. CTPAT knowledge is a plus

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
