POSITION SUMMARY
Stratton's Activities & Events team is looking for team members to join us this summer! The Activities & Events Staff is responsible for the setup, breakdown, cleanup, security and execution of resort events, concerts & festivals. This position will also be responsible for running the indoor/outdoor climbing wall & gym. There are occasional and seasonal part-time positions available hours. The pay for this position is $20.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Event Setup/Breakdown/Cleanup
- Moving chairs, tables, etc.
- Setting up movie screen and sound system for movie night
- Selling popcorn, candy, soda, etc.
- Possible 'runners' for band needs
Event Security Assistance
- Set up of fencing and other security measures
- Monitoring exits to ensure guests are not leaving venue with alcohol or entering without a ticket; we will provide all training for any security needs
Climbing Wall & Gym
- Must successfully complete required training for operating
- Provide safety instruction and demonstration on climbing equipment
- Positively interact with guests
- Assist guests as needed
- Effectively operate POS system to sell day passes, snacks, & retail items
- Check guests in/out

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Actively pursuing a high school diploma, or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous event work, a plus
- Previous guest service experience, a plus
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and ask any pertinent questions
