What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Stratum HR LLC?
Stratum Hr is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Import specialist to join our team. As an Accounted specialist, you will be responsible for managing the import and export of goods, will ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to international business, as well as coordinate with customs and carriers to ensure efficient transit of goods. The Import Specialist will work closely with the sales and logistics teams to ensure that shipments arrive on time and at the right destination.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordinate with merchant, customers, consumers, factories, sales department, design department, accounting team, and customer service teams.
- Handle all relevant business activities, such as but not limited to; review quotes, edit assembly instructions, processing orders, follow up on sample, file documents, oversee shipping status, resolve customer issues, etc.
- Process documents for payments with bank and/or customers
- other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be computer literate, proficient in word, excel, outlook, etc.
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills are a must
- experience with US customs clearance and import procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of quick Books, WS Excel, Incoterms, L/C, OA, banking documents is a plus
- Team Player
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as needed
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently.

Pay BOE $19-$21
