Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of property management, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain high standards of property management and tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and preparing reports.
- Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with tenants, vendors, and potential renters.
- Support the leasing process by showing properties, processing applications, and conducting background checks.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track interactions with tenants and prospects.
- Perform thorough inspections to assess the condition and quality of the properties.
- Manage maintenance requests through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ensuring timely responses to tenant needs.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants to enhance retention rates and overall satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and vendors.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes, legal requirements, and negotiation techniques is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in sales or customer relationship management is beneficial.
