What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Maintenance Technician position at Stratus Property Management?
Duties:
- Demonstrate leadership and self motivation to complete maintenance projects efficiently. - Communicate well with colleagues, tenants and managers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems, lite plumbing, electrical and carpentry for residential apartment complex.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CRM) to track work orders and document completed tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to established procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college helpful.
- Proven experience in maintenance, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, painting, patching, and HVAC. -Appliance repair experience a big plus but not required.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal with a high standard of customer service.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to identifying issues and finding solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
