Job Summary:
The Architectural Designer IV is a senior-level designer responsible for leading design efforts, overseeing the preparation of construction documents, and mentoring junior staff. Primary Essential Functions:
- Lead the development of design concepts, working closely with clients and internal teams to translate client needs into innovative architectural solutions.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Oversee the coordination of building systems (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) with consultants, ensuring seamless integration into the architectural design.
- Review design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals.
- Serve as a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance on design, technical issues, and professional development.
- Manage project schedules and resources, ensuring that design milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants during the construction phase to address design-related challenges and ensure adherence to design intent.
