Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Office Manager, Plant Manager, Compliance Manager
Job Summary:
Strauss Feeds is a leading manufacturer of calf milk replacers. As a key member of the executive team, the COO oversees daily business operations, ensures efficient use of company resources, and drives strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all company operations and resources
• Develop and implement company strategies, plans, and objectives
• Manage and motivate staff to achieve company goals
• Ensure effective management of three direct reports: Office Manager, Plant Manager, and Compliance Manager
Other Key Duties:
• Conduct 90-day performance resets with direct reports and CEO
• Lead regulatory and compliance projects, providing training as needed
Requirements:
• Proven corporate management experience
• Strong financial planning and strategy skills
• Ability to promote process improvement and forecasting
• Marketing and business development expertise
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or related field required
Minimum of 7 years of management experience with a strong understanding of the industry, including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
