What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Administrator position at Stream-Flo?

Key position functions include:
- Ensure timely and accurate timekeeping for multi-EIN company
- Understanding of full cycle multi-state payroll processing
- Maintain knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems and payroll, tax, and legislative practices
- Liaise with corporate HR personnel and external service providers
- Complete accurate and timely payroll processing, consistent with Company guidelines and legislative requirement.
- Enter and audit hours, balance hours and send reports to supervisors for approval
- Set up new hires and process status changes for employees
- Maintain accurate records with respect to time and attendance/vacation accruals
- Assist with tax and benefit reconciliations
- Maintain a service-oriented approach to working with management and employees
- Administrative functions include filing, uploading employee files, archiving and effective record keeping.
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- Minimum 2 years timekeeping/payroll experience
- College Degree preferred. High School Diploma Required.
- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- Honesty and integrity in dealing with confidential information, keeping information in strictest confidence
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills, good judgment.
- Well organized and sense of urgency and follow through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and payroll software. Strong Excel proficiency preferred. UKG, Plansource, and Synerion experience a plus
