Key position functions include:
- Develop strong relationships with key customer representatives through consistent, proactive customer service and effective resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with customers to recognize evolving requirements related to new products and applications, staying updated on industry trends and shifts in the customer landscape.
- Stay informed about upcoming business prospects and pursue customer-specific strategies. Contribute, as needed, to shaping the strategic direction concerning sales, marketing focus, product development, or customer-specific strategies.
- Work with the Sales Manager to identify and manage target accounts.
- Establish a demand profile for customers, including monthly Forecast Systems and unique systems for known rigs.
- Align forecasted requirements with Customers and contribute to booking forecasts.
- Ensure new customer requirements are well understood and communicated to sales and operations.
- Maintain clear records of customer communications, activity and tracking of quotes.
- Represent the company at trade shows and other industry functions.
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Strong technical knowledge of wellhead equipment and applications.
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in wellhead products and services
- Solid understanding of well drilling, completion, and production processes
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Computer literate- proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Mechanical aptitude- understand design and function of wellhead equipment
- Highly self-motivated and well organized
