Summary of the Product Analyst
As the Product Analyst specializing in healthcare data integrations, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing requirements, identifying data flows, and proposing the product strategy to integrate various healthcare data sources seamlessly. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of data from disparate sources while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Job Functions of the Product Analyst
Product Strategy: Execute the product strategy for healthcare data integrations, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather and prioritize requirements for data integration solutions.
Roadmap Planning: Maintain the product roadmap, outlining key milestones and deliverables for healthcare data integration projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with healthcare industry regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure that data integration solutions comply with relevant requirements.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure the reliability and accuracy of data integration solutions.
User Experience: Champion user experience enhancements and work with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare data integration platforms.
Documentation and Training: Develop documentation and training materials for internal teams and customers to facilitate the adoption and use of data integration solutions.
Job Requirements for the Product Analyst
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in product management or customer success in healthcare IT.
Basic understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and standards related to data integration.
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Able to influence teams to achieve product goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product plans.
Experience working with internal stakeholders and third party vendors.
Able to lead projects of low to medium complexity, including managing timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Demonstrated ability to make quick, effective decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining a results-oriented focus. Proven track record of staying calm under pressure, adapting to changing priorities, and consistently delivering quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
Experience with API Management (APIM) platforms is highly preferred, including proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing APIs for seamless integration, security, and scalability.
Experience with healthcare integration engines (Rhapsody Corepoint, JHL7, Qvera, etc.) is preferred.
