Title: Lead Industrial Health Specialist
Qualifications
Street Legal Industries Inc. is looking for Lead Industrial Health Specialist to perform work in the Oak Ridge area potentially at all DOE sites in Oak Ridge. The successful individual will provide expertise in industrial safety and health to ensure compliance with DOE Orders, Standards, Procedures, and Industry best practices. Must be able to demonstrate experience in leading safety programs and teams in a DOE or industrial environment. Have a Strong understanding of safety-basis documentation, hazard categorization, and industrial hygiene programs. Must be able to lead the development, review, and implementation of industrial safety and health programs across multiple nuclear and non-nuclear facilities and sites.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, and collaborate with peers, management, other department personnel, vendors, other contractors, client, and customers at all organizational levels. Must be able to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation. Must have experience in balancing requirements of and prioritizing activities associated with the successful execution of multiple projects. Must be able to commit to a minimum of three years of work with a maximum of five years of work available.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Must have an Associate's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related technical field
· Must have 20 years of experience in the field of industrial safety and health, including
· Must have 10 years of experience at Oak Ridge sites
Clearance:
· Proof of citizenship will be required as a condition of employment.
· Must hold or be able to obtain a Q Clearance
Physical Abilities
The individual will be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and drive.
Must be capable of wearing standard personal protective equipment (hard hat, gloves, coveralls, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes) as needed
