Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will oversee residential and commercial electrical projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will range from project planning and coordination to supporting your team in the field when necessary. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with field experience in the residential and commercial electical world, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents, and other team members to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Visit job sites as needed to support teams and ensure they have the resources and guidance required for success.
- Work collaboratively with both residential and commercial teams to manage varying project scopes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain project quality.
- Review and monitor project progress, documentation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Estimation responsibilities as needed (preferred but not required).
- Lead by example, demonstrating teamwork and a willingness to engage directly in the field when necessary.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED: Proven experience in the electrical industry, with a background in both residential and commercial projects.
- REQUIRED: Hands-on experience in multiple roles within the electrical field (e.g., Journeyman, Foreman, Superintendent).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Experience with project estimation is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided).
- Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Occasional fieldwork required based on project needs.
