Our 10-minute, drive-through oil change and focus on customer satisfaction creates a positive, fun environment for staff and our customers. Whether you have an automotive background or not, our system provides the tools necessary to be successful. The Area Manager role oversees 8-12 shops.
Responsibilities
- People Management: Developing Shop Managers and building a talent pipeline through Manager in Training and Certified Training Shop Manager programs. Create a positive culture through recognition, accountability, support, and ensuring labor management aligns with business needs.
- Company Standards: Ensure consistent adherence to company standards, deliver exceptional customer service reflected in Net Promoter Scores and Google reviews, reduce claims, maintain a clean and professional facility, and prioritize urgency in customer greetings and achieving 10-minute bay times.
- Data Experts: Be fluent in Power BI for daily performance analysis, focus on increasing car count, and coach on all key performance indicators. Encourage competitiveness in meeting targets, challenge Shop Managers with data-driven questions, and troubleshoot performance outliers with the team.
- Policy and Procedure Experts: Be knowledgeable and able to teach inventory management, cash handling, recruiting, training programs, the entire employee life cycle from onboarding to termination, and the company handbook.
Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience working in a multi-unit leadership role
- In-shops in your market 3-4 days per week
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze data and business trends
- Experience managing organizational change, with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs and guide teams through new initiatives effectively
- Experience managing a budget and driving towards unit-level financial plan targets
