About the role
The Meta Media Buyer is responsible for the strategy, implementation, daily management, and optimization of assigned social campaigns. This position will drive strategy and planning responsibilities for media campaigns, including research and insights derived from past campaign performance and cross-client learnings.
This position will have a strong focus on Meta’s Ad Product Suite, specifically, Facebook & Instagram media buying. A critical eye for detail and a love for data analysis are a must. Strong skills in creative ad strategy, pixel & event mapping, and experience using a variety of campaign types are needed.
The ideal candidate is innovative and excited by the idea of coming up with interesting and effective ways to target and reach audiences through digital media. Experience buying channels like CTV, Programmatic Display, & TikTok is an added bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
Own the day-to-day management and optimization of assigned campaigns
Pulls and analyzes campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations
Ensures that campaign KPIs and objectives are met both near and long term.
Prepares research and insights to inform ongoing media recommendations
Manages budget allocations and bid parameters to deliver the most efficient results
Media Planning & Campaign construction - Develop organized and strategic media plans and execute them from start to finish - including campaign structure, audience targeting ad build-outs
Maintain assigned internal reporting worksheets
Prepare weekly client reporting, with a focus on providing in-depth analysis and utilizing visual representations where possible
Be prepared to speak about campaign performance on client calls
Short-form copywriting and collaboration with designers to build high-converting ad creatives
Understand how to use Google Tag Manager to check your conversions are firing appropriately and investigate any issues
Maintain active contact with platform & vendor service providers to ensure we get top-level service s
Experience : 2 -3 years of related experience
Education : BA / BS degree in marketing or business preferred or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Expertise :
Ideal experience setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns in Meta channel
Must be extremely detail-oriented, passionate about data analysis, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in Google Docs and spreadsheets
The ability to speak into creative formats, audience psychology and overall ad strategy is strongly preferred
Must be experienced in analyzing data and market research
Direct response copywriting and design abilities for ads build out a strong plus
Tableau or other similar BI reporting experience is a strong plus
Experience with Unbounce, LeadPages, or similar is a strong plus
Certifications or degrees in data are a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity in the financial services industry is a plus
Certification in Google Analytics and is a plus
Compensation
65,000-$85,000
