Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented I.V. Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy department by ensuring the safe and effective compounding of sterile medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.. The Certified Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and compound medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in IV infusion preparation and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Provide critical care support by assisting with medication management for patients in acute care settings.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Experience in sterile compounding a plus.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique for IV infusion preparation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
