POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include :
1. Quality Engineering Oversight : Responsible for the Quality Engineering and Inspection functions, focusing on quality planning, compliance monitoring, and validation across programs, hardware, software, and inspection.
2. Strategic Vision Development : Create and implement a strategic vision for the Quality department while addressing technical challenges and ensuring tactical execution.
3. Initiating Quality Programs : Develop and implement strategic Quality initiatives within the Electronic Warfare Division, aligning with company procedures, government standards, and proven methodologies.
4. Culture of Quality Promotion : Foster a strong culture of quality that engages every employee and enhances the customer experience through meticulous attention to detail and defect prevention.
5. Collaboration Across Product Life Cycle : Work collaboratively with program teams and functional organizations to ensure all phases of the product life cycle meet mission success requirements and facilitate smooth transitions to production.
6. Maintaining Compliance & Reporting : Maintain quality records, ensure compliance with internal and external standards (including AS9100 and CMMI), and report on business performance to senior leadership with action plans for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal Senior Quality Assurance Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace / Electrical / Mechanical / Software Engineering or technical equivalent with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 5 years of Quality management or operations leadership experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including communications, facilitation, consulting, coaching, and influencing
