$30-$32.50/hour DOE $150/day Per Diem

Description
Safely transport loads within construction site with the use of lifting equipment, such as cranes and hoists. You will work closely with your team members to complete your daily duties. You will also perform equipment inspections and repairs on a regular basis.
To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience with cranes and building materials. Problem-solving and attention to detail are also must-have skills for you, so that you can adapt to different weather conditions and settings.
Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Observes load hook up and determines safety of load
- Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions
- Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism
- Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of the defects or malfunctions
- Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
- May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and work pieces during installation
- Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment
- Safely operate crane, hoist mechanism, tools and materials
- Assists in assembly and disassembly of cranes
- Plans and coordinates crane movement & set-up
- Adheres to all safety procedures
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations, and ANSI Standards in crane operations.
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in verbal and handling signal communication.
- Daily and monthly equipment inspections.
Salary : $30 - $33
