Stronger Oregon / Roseburg Therapy is hiring for a Mental Health Billing Specialist. We are a fast-growing mental health agency which largely has a team of therapists delivering services in local schools as well as the broader community in our offices throughout Oregon. Your role would be primarily to complete billing for services, prior authorizations, input clients into the Electronic Health Record and assist with scheduling when needed. You will be working along side our lead billing specialist who says our system for billing insurance is the simplest they have seen. The ideal candidate will have experience in each of these roles, has a great work ethic and is independently driven.
Requirements:
- Must have 1 year or more experience with medical/mental health billing.
- Must have 1 year or more experience working within an electronic health record.
- Must be personable, supportive and thorough when community members navigate the process to get help.
- Be able to multi-task, prioritize, organize and collaborate.
- Must communicate, complete and store patient information to FARPA and HIPAA standards.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug test.
