Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent time management skills, and planning. This role requires effective communication and leadership abilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules .
- Prepare and review contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Utilize , Word, and Excel for project documentation and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Analyze schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Assist with estimating as necessary.
Experience
- Must have at least 5 years experience in Design-Build Construction - Preferred work experience in the range of $1 Million - $5 Million.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to meet the needs of our customers through planning, perseverance, and an overall drive for results in a composed and effective manner.
- Capable of managing multiple projects at one time.
- Possess the ability to communicate well with the field personnel as well as clients.
- Action oriented with the capacity to effectively lead direct reports to accomplish projects on time and under budget.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing contracts and schematics.
- Effective leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
