Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Revit drafters to join our team! As an Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role supporting the Project Manager in developing complete, accurate residential home documentation. Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed 3D models and construction drawings using computer-aided design software (Revit), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and quality standards.
This is an on-site position in Frederick, MD offering hybrid work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with architects and designers to create detailed residential architectural drawings using Revit software.
- Utilize a strong understanding of residential design principles and construction methods to develop and modify design concepts for single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-unit residential buildings.
- Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, sections, foundation plans, floor and roof framing designs, and construction details.
- Verify drawings are correct and in compliance with specifications, codes, and other regulations.
- Adjust drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
- Produce related technical documents such as material lists, cost estimates, technical descriptions, or design specifications.
- Help maintain a library of standard drawing templates.
- Assist in material selection in coordination with other project team members.
- Maintain organized documentation and project files.

Additional Competencies (strongly preferred but not required)
- Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with ICC building codes (IRC, IBC, IECC)
