Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team at Structural Concepts Corp. in Norton Shores, Michigan. This role is vital to our mission of delivering top-notch food display solutions by ensuring precision in metal fabrication and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Operate, load, and unload Fiber Laser machines and material handling equipment. Efficiently produce quality finished parts and blanks for downstream operations.
- Program Laser equipment to minimize cut time and maximize material yield.
- Operate and load panel bending machine(s). Ensure finished parts meet specifications and adjust programs as needed.
- Clean daily and keep the work area organized. Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition. Performs routine PMs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing role.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are essential.
- Ability to work overtime to support peaks in customer demand.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. Lift up to 25 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
