Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring effective talent management, and fostering positive employee relations in multiple states and locations. This position requires a proactive approach to human resources management and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Duties
- Manage and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for accurate employee data.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for production roles, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring all employees are integrated into the company's culture and understand job expectations, safety protocols, and benefits.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, escalating issues when necessary to resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, and other initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and reducing turnover.
- Ensure company HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal employment laws, including OSHA and EEOC regulations, particularly in the context of manufacturing.
- Assist with managing workplace safety programs and compliant with OSHA standards.
- Support training needs within the production workforce and coordinate appropriate training programs including proper PPE in production (e.g., safety, technical skills, leadership).
- Process payroll including ensuring timecards, attendance, and overtime are accurately submitted and approved.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring all employee data is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and legal regulations.
- Prepare and present HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, absenteeism, and other key performance indicators, to management for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role or similar capacity.
- Proficiency in HRIS software; experience with Paylocity, QuickBooks and Bi-Lingual is a plus.
- Strong understanding of talent management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of workforce management strategies and employee relations best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
