Project Coordinator

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES/ VSL, A Structural Group Company, is the single source for VSL® products and technical support in the US - which have been used throughout the world since 1956 to build, repair and strengthen bridges, buildings, tanks, and special structures.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to be based in our Dallas office which is located in Fort Worth, TX. As a Project Coordinator for VSL, you will be accountable for preparing complex drawings of structures and equipment systems.

The Successful Candidate Will Also Be Responsible For

• Routinely drafting project drawings derived from layouts and sketches
• Establishing and following technical specs to prepare drawings and assist in design drafting
• Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy and coordinate with shop for material deliveries to job-sites
• Determine material needs, performing necessary calculations, and tracking all material quantities
• Serving as the primary point of contact for VSL Customers
  
  

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for the Project Coordinator position:

• Minimum of 3 years experience with AutoCAD, proficiency with Solid Works, Inventor and Revit are a plus
• Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings
• Solid math and spreadsheet skills
• Strong communication skills, able to correspond well with Engineers and Clients
• Associates degree in CAD design or related field
