Job Overview:
As an Estimator, you will prepare accurate cost estimates for a variety of projects, conduct site visits, collaborate with project managers and contractors, and ensure projects stay on budget. This is a full-time, on-site role in Indianapolis, IN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate costs for projects including country clubs, restaurants, historic buildings, healthcare facilities, and solar energy systems.
- Review plans, conduct site visits, and assess materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Prepare competitive bids and assist with procurement activities.
- Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as necessary.
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of estimating experience in construction, with a focus on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, and regulations.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
