2025 Undergraduate Summer Intern - Clinical Science

LOCATION & DURATION

All internships will be based in our South San Francisco, CA and will be in-person minimum 4 days a week in the office. This internship starts in late June 2025 for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is a temporary role working up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is $30/hour.

Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support clinical research projects.
• Assist in the organization, and analysis of clinical study data.
• Selection of area of interest, with focus on clinical science, clinical research, or related topic.
• Participate in team meetings, discussions, and training sessions to enhance knowledge of clinical research methodologies.
• Adhere to company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to clinical research.
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong interest in clinical trials, research methodologies, and medical research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A full-time student in an accredited program with plans to return to school in the fall

The target hourly rate for this intern role is $30.00 an hour. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training. Students will be on their own for housing, benefits, transportation, etc., and need to provide adequate work authorization to work for any US employer through the duration of the program.
