2025 Undergraduate Summer Intern - Commercial Planning
LOCATION & DURATION
All internships will be based in our South San Francisco, CA and will be in-person minimum 4 days a week in the office. This internship starts in late June 2025 for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is a temporary role working up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is $30/hour.
Position Summary
The summer intern will be a member of the Commercial Planning team, reporting to the VP, Commercial Strategy & New Product Planning. The role will participate in gathering commercial insights and competitive intelligence to inform the product strategy and competitive positioning of one or more of Structure’s portfolio of metabolic assets, which include aleniglipron, a GLP-1RA in Phase 2b clinical development. The intern will have an opportunity to learn about the obesity market landscape and key players in the space, while developing market analytics, market insights gathering, and presentation skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The target hourly rate for this intern role is $30.00 an hour. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training. Students will be on their own for housing, benefits, transportation, etc., and need to provide adequate work authorization to work for any US employer through the duration of the program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform literature searches and secondary research to understand the evolving landscape in obesity and/or other metabolic diseases
- Participate in competitive intelligence monitoring and the updating of the competitive landscapes for the various targets in obesity
- Conduct a market research project with physicians to understand the necessary product requirements for potential life-cycle opportunities for aleniglipron
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Powerpoint and ability to create Powerpoint presentations
- A full-time student in an accredited program with plans to return to school in the fall
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2025.
