Position Summary
The Senior Director, Commercial Strategy & New Product Planning, is a key commercial leader who will lead the commercial strategy for Structure’s portfolio of metabolic assets, which include aleniglipron, a GLP-1RA in development for obesity in Phase 2b clinical development. This role will closely partner with clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and translational medicine to inform the key product attributes needed for commercial success, as well as partner with the discovery team to assess new target
opportunities. This person will also partner with the business development team to commercially evaluate both in- and out-licensing opportunities to complement Structure’s existing metabolic portfolio. Strong commercial strategy, competitive intelligence, market analytics, and forecasting experience are required. This individual will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

The target salary range for this full-time role is $264,000 - $317,000 bonus equity benefits. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as commercial lead on Structure’s portfolio of metabolic programs, which include aleniglipron (GLP-1RA small molecule), ACCG-2671 (dual amylin/calcitonin agonist small molecule), and other early metabolic pipeline programs targeting GIP and glucagon.
- Act as the commercial representative on the Product Development Team (PDT) for aleniglipron, and other PDTs as they are formed.
- Closely collaborate with the research and clinical teams in creating target product profiles (TPPs) for Structure’s early-stage metabolic programs, informing clinical trial design and identifying key success factors for commercial success.
- Lead the long-range planning process, including owning and managing the long-range revenue forecast for Structure’s portfolio of assets.
- Lead competitive intelligence across the organization, including creating and updating competitive landscapes, medical conference coverage, and real time monitoring of the metabolic disease landscape.
- Support business development activities by providing commercial assessments and product / portfolio valuations for potential partnering opportunities.
- Provide commercial assessments of new target opportunities in collaboration with the biology team, to inform new target selection.
Education
M.S. or Ph.D. in the Biological Sciences or Masters in Business Administration with an undergraduate degree in Biology or related degree.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in early pipeline commercial strategy and new product planning
- Knowledge of the drug development process, and experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in research, clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs to inform TPP requirements and clinical trial design
- Familiar with qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies with physicians and payors
- Ability to create patient-based forecast models and product / portfolio valuation models
- Familiar with the tools used to gather competitive intelligence
- Experience in CV/metabolic disease preferred, but not required
- Prefer candidates with experience working at pre-commercial stage biotechnology companies
