Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graphics Production Specialist to join our fast-paced team in the trade show industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ONYX RIP software, large format printers, and a strong understanding of print production workflows. Experience operating a Kongsberg cutting table is a significant plus.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where quality, speed, and precision are key. You’ll be responsible for preparing, producing, finishing and installing a wide range of graphics used in custom trade show exhibits and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and RIP print files using ONYX to ensure accurate color and layout.
- Operate and maintain large format printers (e.g., HP, EFI, Roland, etc.).
- Set up and operate Kongsberg cutting tables (experience preferred, not required).
- Perform quality control checks on all graphics for color accuracy, size, and finishing.
- Trim, mount, and finish graphics using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper handling and storage of materials.
- Assist in packaging and preparing graphics for shipping or installation.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in large format graphic production, preferably in the trade show, signage, or display industry.
- Proficient in ONYX RIP software.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Experience operating or a strong understanding of Kongsberg cutting tables is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for color and layout.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable lifting materials up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CNC routers or other digital finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of materials commonly used in trade show displays (e.g., Sintra, foamcore, fabric, etc.).
- General knowledge of trade show fabrication or installation processes.
