Commercial Paving Technician

Primary Function:

Perform tasks involving physical labor at paving project sites.

Reports To:

Director of Construction Services, CSG Paving

Responsibilities:

• Perform paving and asphalt duties.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and other employees.
• Perform all tasks assigned or apparent.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Willing to work as and contribute to a team environment.
• Exude a strong work ethic, desire to succeed, and aptitude to retain information and training provided.
• Be aware of and follow safety procedures
• Experience in restoration, masonry, concrete repair, or crew leadership a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation such as: Lifting 50 lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling, ability to climb a ladder 40', ability to work in extreme climates, must be comfortable with heights and ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Travel Percentage:

• 75-100%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
