This role also involves maintaining records, preparing goods for shipment or production, operating equipment as needed, and supporting team training and warehouse efficiency.
- Unpacking and checking goods against purchase orders or invoices
- Maintaining records of received goods, alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary
- Lifting and moving heavy items and may operate an electric pallet jack
- Preparing and maintaining records of items shipped and will be required to comply with documentation and record keeping procedures
- Preparing goods for final shipment and/or production assembly
- Examining, stock and/or distribute goods in inventory and/or in other areas
- Entering information into the inventory management system
- Assisting in the training of new and existing employees in distribution-related tasks
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years related distribution experience
- Ability to operate common material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, scales, label maker, PC, etc.).
